Maharishi University of Information Technology Hosts UDAAN 2026, Honours 600+ Meritorious Students in Lucknow

Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh: Maharishi University of Information Technology organized the grand “UDAAN 2026 – Guruvandan Samman” ceremony, bringing together meritorious students, educators, and academic leaders in a celebration of academic excellence, quality higher education, and future-ready learning.

Recognized among the growing private universities in Uttar Pradesh for its focus on innovation-driven education, skill development, and career-oriented programmes, the university welcomed more than 600 Class 12 meritorious students along with over 150 principals and teachers from Lucknow and nearby regions.

The event reflected the university’s vision of creating a modern educational ecosystem that supports holistic student development, leadership building, research-based learning, and global academic exposure for students preparing for higher education and professional success.

The Chief Guest, Harisoa Lalatiana Accouche, attended the programme along with Rakotomavo Kiady. During her interaction with students and educators, she appreciated the university’s student-centric academic environment and praised its efforts towards encouraging young achievers through recognition and motivation.

Addressing the gathering, she said that such moments of honour become lifelong memories for students and inspire them to pursue excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and meaningful career opportunities. She also highlighted the importance of international academic collaboration and value-based education in shaping future leaders.

Welcoming the distinguished guests, Vice Chancellor Prof. Bhanu Pratap Singh congratulated the students for their achievements and emphasized the importance of industry-focused education, professional courses, and future-ready skills in today’s competitive world.

He stated that universities today must go beyond traditional academics by promoting research excellence, personality development, innovation, and practical learning to prepare students for evolving career opportunities across industries.

The programme was attended by Registrar Girish Chhimwal, Controller of Examinations K.K. Shukla, Deputy Registrar Rajesh Singh, along with Sushant Srivastava, Sarit Ghosh, Anshuman Deo Gupta, and delegates from Seychelles.

During the student felicitation ceremony, meritorious students and outstanding educators were honoured for their contribution towards academic achievement and educational excellence. Cultural performances presented by students added vibrancy and enthusiasm to the event.

According to the university administration, “UDAAN 2026 – Guruvandan Samman” was designed to encourage academic achievers, strengthen student motivation, and promote quality education in India while inspiring students towards leadership, innovation, and lifelong learning.
